FROM THE DELAWARE MEMORIAL BRIDGE
Take the exit that says Atlantic City—Rte 40 East. Must exit prior to the NJ Turnpike entrance. Follow Route 540 East. Do not get on Route 40 East to Atlantic City. Bear to the right on exiting and follow Route 540 East. Turn left onto “Bypass Road” to a stop. Make another left onto Route 45 North. Go straight about a mile and a half and make a right turn onto Route 540 East. When you reach a stop sign turn left and proceed to the traffic light. Continue straight for two blocks. Make a right turn onto School Lane. The school is located directly ahead at the end of the street.
FROM ROUTE 40 WEST (Elmer Area)
Take Route 40 West through Elmer. Go around the Pole Tavern Circle and stay on Route 40. Approximately 3 miles past the Circle, make a left onto Route 581 – which is also Commissioners Pike. Follow Route 581 into Alloway (approximately 8 miles). At the traffic light, turn left and continue for two blocks. Make a right turn onto School Lane. The school is located directly ahead at the end of the street.
FROM WOODBURY/MULLICA HILL
Take Route 45 to Woodstown. At the center of Woodstown go right onto Route 45 and Route 40 which will run together for about one mile. At the traffic light where Route 45 and Route 40 split, (Route 40 goes to the right), turn left onto Bailey Street. Proceed on to the next stop street. Turn right and proceed onto Woodstown-Alloway Road. Stay on this road until the end (at stop), then turn right onto Commissioner’s Pike and proceed into the center of Alloway. At the traffic light, turn left and continue for two blocks. Make a right turn onto School Lane. The school is located directly ahead at the end of the street.
FROM THE MAURICE RIVER AREA
Proceed on Route 49 to Millville. Go through Millville staying on Route 49 and proceed on until Bridgeton. Go through center of Bridgeton, through several traffic lights, still proceeding on Route 49 West. Then follow directions as below from Bridgeton to Alloway School.
FROM BRIDGETON
Leaving Bridgeton, proceed west on Route 49 (heading towards Salem). Go through Shiloh, still on Route 49 West. Make a right turn onto Route 540 West. Travel approximately 5 miles into Alloway and make a left turn onto School Lane (just after the Alloway Twp. Municipal Building). The school is directly ahead at the end of the street.
FROM ROUTE I-295 SOUTH (North of Blackwood Area)
Take I-295 South to Route 42 then onto Route 55 until Exit 50B (you will be on Route 322 when exiting from Route 55). At Exit 50B, proceed on through first traffic light to second light on 322. At the second light, make an “easy” left turn onto Route 618. Proceed approximately 4 miles to the end of the road. At the stop sign make a left onto 581. Continue on 581 for approximately 12.5 miles. (Route 581 is also known as Commissioner’s Pike and will take you directly into Alloway.) At the traffic light, turn left and continue for two blocks. Make a right turn onto School Lane. The school is located directly ahead at the end of the street.
